SUPPORT THE MOVEMENT

Your gift makes it possible for a South Asian person to finally stop carrying this alone.

JiVA Mental Health is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Every dollar you give goes directly to subsidized therapy for people who cannot afford care, training for the next generation of South Asian clinicians, and community programs where South Asians can stop performing and start healing.

What your gift actually does

We do not deal in vague impact. Here is exactly where your money goes.

ONE-TIME GIFT
$40
Covers one full therapy session for a community member who cannot afford the going rate. Our therapists are paid $40 per session. This is the most direct gift you can give.
ONE-TIME GIFT
$160
Funds four sessions, one full month of weekly therapy. For many of our clients, one month of consistent care is the turning point.
ONE-TIME GIFT
$500
Contributes toward a PSI perinatal mental health scholarship, training a South Asian clinician to serve South Asian mothers who currently have almost no culturally matched postpartum care available to them.
ONE-TIME GIFT
$1,000
Funds 25 therapy sessions. For a client on sliding scale at $0, this is six months of weekly therapy made possible entirely by donor support.
ONE-TIME GIFT
$2,000
Funds one full year of weekly therapy for one community member. $40 per session times 50 sessions. This is what it actually costs to change someone's life.
MONTHLY GIFT
$40/mo
Becomes $480 per year and funds 12 full therapy sessions. Monthly donors are the backbone of JiVA's ability to plan ahead and say yes to more clients.

The $100,000 goal funds subsidized therapy for 50 community members, three community programs, two clinician scholarships, and JiVA's operations for the full year.

Why donors give

“It’s not just about breaking taboos, it’s about breaking barriers that hinder access to an already broken mental health system. Let’s make care equitable and available to all with JiVA Mental Health.”

Richa Moorjani
Actress and Activist, Never Have I Ever

“In a world that demands conformity, let our South Asian community stand out for embracing diversity in mental health. It’s time for us to reclaim our voices and rewrite our narrative with JiVA’s support.”

Aparna Shewakramani
Author and former Indian Matchmaking cast member

“When I began therapy with JiVA, I didn’t realize how much of my pain was connected to my family’s past. JiVA helped me see the connections and start untangling my own identity from the trauma of previous generations.”

JiVA Community Member
Therapy client, Los Angeles

Behind every donation is a real person who finally feels like they can breathe.

You do not have to be South Asian to believe our community deserves better. You just have to believe that culture, identity, and healing belong together. If you believe that, JiVA is your organization too.
