A multigenerational South Asian community practicing guided breathwork and meditation together in a park.

Between everything you do for work, family, and the people you love, it can be hard to find a moment for yourself. This is an invitation to take one.

JiVA Mental Health and Compassion Unites are coming together for a welcoming hour in the park. We will breathe, pause, and reconnect with ourselves and our community through simple, accessible practices. No yoga or meditation experience is needed.

Validated by global studies

A researched approach to mental health

The practice led by Compassion Unites at this JiVA gathering is derived from the Yoga of Immortals approach, which combines breathwork, meditation, gentle movement, and cognitive yogic practices. Yoga of Immortals summarizes results from its research program after 4–8 weeks of regular practice as:

82%reduction in insomnia symptoms
75%reduction in anxiety symptoms
72%reduction in depression symptoms
75%improvement in quality of life

Explore the Yoga of Immortals research

These figures reflect 4–8 weeks of regular practice and should not be interpreted as expected results from a single 60-minute session. The cited research addresses insomnia, not obstructive sleep apnea. This event is not medical treatment and does not replace professional care.
